BScan ("we," "us," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our barcode scanning application.

Information We Collect

1. Scan History

• Barcode values you scan are stored locally on your device only
• Free tier users: scan history is not saved
• Pro tier users: scan history is stored on your device for up to 500 scans (Pro) or unlimited (Pro Monthly)
• We do NOT transmit your scan data to our servers

2. Bluetooth Device Information

• When you pair with a Bluetooth device, we store the device name locally for convenience
• Device pairing information remains on your device only

3. Settings & Preferences

• Your scanning settings (suffix, delay, prefix, etc.) are stored locally on your device
• We do NOT collect this data

4. Advertising Data

BScan uses Google AdMob to display ads to free tier users. Google AdMob may collect data including your advertising ID, device information, and interaction with ads.

5. In-App Purchases

Data Storage

• Local Storage: All scan history, preferences, and pairing information are stored exclusively on your device
• No Cloud Sync: We do not backup, sync, or transmit your data to cloud servers
• No Analytics: We do not track your scanning behavior or usage patterns

Data Deletion

You can delete all app data (scan history, preferences) by:

1. Uninstalling the app
2. Clearing app data in Android Settings > Apps > BScan > Storage > Clear All Data

Third-Party Services

• Google Play Billing: Used for in-app purchases
• Google AdMob: Used to display ads in the free version
• Google Play Services: Required for app functionality

Your Rights

• You have the right to access, modify, or delete your personal data at any time
• You can disable ads by upgrading to a Pro tier
• You can refuse app permissions (camera, Bluetooth) in Android Settings

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date and posting the revised policy in the app.
